Discover the essence of the Colombian Amazon<\/strong> on our 3-day, 2-night package from Leticia<\/strong>, a journey that brings together the ancestral wisdom of the rainforest<\/strong>, a boat trip on the Amazon River<\/strong> and the magic of Puerto Nari\u00f1o<\/strong>. Your adventure begins in Leticia, from where we travel to the Maloca Guairuru<\/strong>, a traditional Amazonian longhouse surrounded by jungle. There we explore the rainforest on foot and sit down to talk with the elder (\u201cel abuelo\u201d), keeper of ancestral knowledge<\/strong>, who shares how Amazonian peoples see the forest and teaches us about the medicinal plants of the chagra<\/strong>, the traditional Amazonian garden. After another jungle walk, we spend the night in hammocks, lulled by the sounds of nature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On day two, after breakfast, we head to the Leticia boardwalk (Malec\u00f3n de Leticia) to sail the mightiest river on the planet<\/strong> to Monkey Island<\/strong>, where you can watch these primates up close in their natural surroundings<\/strong>. We continue to the community of Macedonia, on the banks of the Amazon<\/strong>, and then to Puerto Nari\u00f1o<\/strong>, known as Colombia\u2019s \u201cnatural nativity scene\u201d<\/strong>, a car-free town where everything is explored on foot<\/strong>. There we have lunch and spend the night at Hotel Ayahuasca<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On day three we visit the community of San Antonio to head into the jungle in search of sloths<\/strong>, and share lunch with the community<\/strong>. In the afternoon we sail the Amazon looking for dolphins<\/strong>, stop at Puerto Alegr\u00eda and return to Leticia, where this unforgettable experience comes to an end<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The package includes shared accommodation for 2 nights<\/strong> (one in hammocks at the maloca and one at a hotel in Puerto Nari\u00f1o), 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches<\/strong>, shared activities<\/strong>, a tour guide<\/strong>, land or river transportation<\/strong> whenever the route requires it, and insurance<\/strong>.
