Discover the Amazon of the triple border<\/strong> on our 5-day, 4-night package from Leticia<\/strong>, a journey that takes you through Colombia, Peru and Brazil<\/strong> as you sail the Amazon and Yavar\u00ed rivers<\/strong>, hike the rainforest and share time with communities that live to the rhythm of the water<\/strong>. Your adventure begins in Leticia: after a warm welcome and lunch, we board at the Leticia boardwalk (Malec\u00f3n de Leticia) to sail the mightiest river on the planet<\/strong> to Monkey Island<\/strong>, where you can watch these primates up close in their natural surroundings. We then continue to Puerto Nari\u00f1o<\/strong>, where we spend the first night at Hotel Ayahuasca.<\/p>\n

On day two we visit the community of San Antonio and head into the jungle on a guided hike, looking for sloths<\/strong> and standing before the towering giant ceiba<\/strong>, one of the most iconic trees of the Amazon. After lunch in the community, we sail the Amazon to Puerto Alegr\u00eda<\/strong> to meet its people and enjoy a display of dance, culture and handicrafts from the Peruvian Amazon<\/strong>. As night falls, a night walk reveals the sounds and creatures of the jungle in the dark<\/strong>, before we rest at Hotel Irapay.<\/p>\n

On day three we cross to Islandia, in Peru<\/strong>, and sail the Yavar\u00ed River, which forms the border between Peru and Brazil<\/strong>, to Sacamb\u00fa. Here the adventure happens on the water: piranha fishing, canoeing, dolphin watching and a refreshing swim at the Pac\u00fa beaches<\/strong>. That night we sleep in Sacamb\u00fa, surrounded by rainforest.<\/p>\n

Day four is a celebration of Amazonian wildlife<\/strong>: we visit a village where we watch four species of monkeys<\/strong> (spider, capuchin, squirrel and howler monkeys), spot birds such as toucans and macaws, and experience the thrill of feeding the arapaima (piraruc\u00fa), the largest freshwater fish in the world<\/strong>. In the afternoon, around 4:30\u20135:00 p.m., we return to Leticia to rest at the hotel.<\/p>\n

On the final day, depending on your flight time, we explore Leticia on a city tour<\/strong>, visit the ethnographic museum<\/strong> to learn about the cultures of the Amazonian peoples, and cross to the Brazilian side of the border<\/strong> for some shopping before wrapping up the experience.<\/p>\n
