From the moment we leave Hotel Masaya Medellín, a unique adventure begins, one that will take you to explore one of the most spectacular and little-known natural destinations in eastern Antioquia: the impressive Calderas River. This experience is designed for those looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city and reconnect with the purest, most authentic, and vibrant landscapes surrounding Medellín.
Our private transportation will take us to the outskirts of the city (about 1.5 hours), and from there, we’ll switch to 4x4 vehicles that venture deeper into the mountains, through increasingly lush and scenic terrain. The final destination: the stunning, crystal-clear waters of the Calderas River.
This is not just a tour, it’s a full-on whitewater adventure. Get ready for over 3 hours of rafting through dramatic natural landscapes and thrilling class III and IV rapids that will ignite your adventurous spirit and immerse you in Colombia’s breathtaking biodiversity.
