Enjoy Colombia's most popular coffee, made from Arabica Castillo variety originating from Huila, one of the most important coffee regions in the Colombian Andes. This traditional method brews a medium-bodied coffee with intense flavor and moderate acidity, highlighting woody aromas, maltiness, or a subtle caramel sweetness.
Tour Description
Live an unforgettable experience tasting Colombian specialty coffee at Café Matuca, a unique style specialty coffee shop with avant-garde design that exalts coffee culture. An expert barista will talk to you about the world of coffee: production, harvest, selection and roasting of the softest coffee in the world. You will taste 4 exotic coffees from the main coffee-growing areas of Colombia that will be prepared in the popular espresso machine and other filtering methods such as Chemex, Siphon or v60.
"Café Campesino" is made with Arabica blend coffee prepared in a clay pot in a slow infusion process where stars of anise and cinnamon chips are combined to obtain a drink with a pronounced aroma with an earthy body and an intense flavor of fresh coffee with notes of cocoa, together with panela honey made with sugar cane extract, are combined to make an energy drink.
