Bean to Bar: A Cocoa Experience in the Heart of Antioquia

  • 7 hours
  • Medellín
  • English / Spanish
  • Small groups
  • $429.000

Enjoy a unique experience on our cacoa farm

Step into the world of Colombian cacao on this immersive experience at a small family-run farm, just under two hours from Medellín. More than a chocolate-making class, this is a story of transformation — where cacao replaced coca, and farmers became peacebuilders through chocolate.
Led by a bilingual guide, you’ll explore the cocoa fields, pick ripe pods, and craft your very own chocolate — from tree to treat. Along the way, learn about the varieties of cacao and the journey from bitter bean to sweet delight.
After a hearty, locally-sourced lunch, it’s time to hit the trail. A short jungle hike leads you to hidden waterfalls, where you’ll enjoy a unique local tradition: cacao therapy — a natural body scrub using raw cocoa, followed by a refreshing plunge into crystal-clear pools.
