Located one hour away from the city of Cartagena, you’ll take a short trip to this impressive mud volcano. The volcano is a small, conical mound rising up to 15 meters high, has a diameter of approximately 50 meters, and is filled with warm and dense mud.
Once you reach the top, you can descend into the crater and enjoy the relaxing sensation of the mud, which is said to have therapeutic properties. Why? The mud is rich in minerals, so it is believed to have a number of benefits for the skin, including improving circulation and reducing inflammation. You’ll be able to sit in the area, put mud all over your skin while enjoying a nice view of the Caribbean.
