Upon returning to the pier, the experience evolves without losing any intensity. It’s time for the Beyond Cartagena’s Pub Crawl, a route designed to discover Cartagena’s authentic nightlife. The group will visit carefully selected bars within the Historic Center and Getsemaní, with live music and a multicultural atmosphere. At each stop, you’ll receive free shots of Colombian liquors, participate in icebreaker drinking games, and experience genuine interaction with other travelers.
In addition, you’ll have a “cultural dance class” with a local instructor who will introduce you to the basic steps of salsa and champeta, two rhythms that are the musical DNA of the city. A fun fact that adds flavor to the evening: champeta originated in the Afro-Caribbean neighborhoods of Cartagena and was for years an underground expression, now a symbol of local identity.
